The Ryde Carnival enjoys the support and help of many local companies. Without whose valuable time and energy many of the things we provide for the carnival wouldn't come to fruition.

The Ryde Town Council

Ryde Town Council have again this year continued their support of Ryde Carnival, we are grateful for their support of this event that is enjoyed by visitors and locals alike.

The Bestival

Bestival is again proud to sponsor and work in conjunction with Ryde Carnival (for the second year running). As always, big hearty congratulations to the organising team for all their efforts....

Both these ace Island events are concerned with people having the most fun possible whilst at least partly clothed and dressing in some of the most outlandish costumes imaginable! and are now considered true highlights in the Isle of Wight summer calendar.

Bestival 2009 sold-out in record time and promises to be the biggest and best weekend of fun yet - 40,000 lucy ticket-holders will be rockin' Robin Hill this September as they savour out of this world headliners Massive Attack, Kraftwerk and Mercury Prize winners Elbow, in addition to 300+ other top acts such as Lily Allen, La Roux, Fleet Foxes, Seasick Steve, 2 Many DJs and Carl Cox. And don't forget that our fancy dress theme this year is Outer Space, so get those costumes at the ready, set phasers to stun and prepare for lift-off!

We would like to express our great thanks to Wight Link for their continuing support of Ryde Carnival over the years by sponsoring transportation of visiting group to our carnival each year.

TaylerMade Entertainment Agency

Taylermade Entertainment Agency is based on the Isle of Wight, they supply a huge variety of acts which are suitable for all types of venue's including corporate events, masonic, weddings, jewish weddings and anniversaries. Thanks to their generous support for the last three years we have been able to provide trophies to all the winning entrants.

Eve Designs Limited

Eve Designs Limited is a specialist web design and management company based on the Isle of Wight. They specialise in small and medium web sites, offering a bespoke design and photographic service. Thanks to their generous support over the last 5 years we have been able to have an ever expanding and colourful web site that keeps pace with the carnival season in Ryde. And we would like to thank them for the design, production and obtaining advertisers for the Ryde Carnival Official Programme.

Yelf's Hotel, Ryde

Yelf's Hotel and Ryde Carnival Association have received an investment from Arts and Business to further develop their creative partnership. The Double your Money funding programme is aimed at stimulating business support for arts and cultural projects and does so by matching commercial sponsorship pound for pound. This has meant that as a result of Yelf's backing for the towns carnival the Association has had additional funds to invest in the 2007 programme and market this wonderful event.

Southern Vectis

Southern Vectis have helped with their generous provision of transport for visiting groups on the Island, as well as providing an Open topped bus for the main and illuminated processions this year to transport local dignitaries and carnival queens from previous years.
